Are You Waiting For A Financial Breakthrough?

Did you know that the common prayer that's requested from many people is that God provide a great deal of money to have things and to be able to have a blessed life. But did you know that you are already blessed?

It’s true! We don’t have to ask for the blessings God has provided us.  We have everything we need already because of the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. What we need to do is reach out in faith and trust that God loves us so much that we never have to be without anything.

But there is our free will to deal with. If we would match our will to God’s and let Him show us the way, we would have more money and financial opportunities through our jobs, careers, businesses or ministries.   It’s really not that hard a concept in words, but we can come up with all kinds of reasons why we have to keep doing things our way instead of God’s. Yet we continue to live in lack.

So as I was in the midst of my daily reading, I came across a scripture that reminded me ones again that Gods Favor And Blessings are already upon me. That's why i'm so FAB... (Favored And Blessed). So when you begin to pray for a financial breakthrough keep some of these scriptures close at hand.

“He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf.” (Proverbs 11:28)

"I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread." (Psalm 37:25)

"Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things." (Matthew 6:31-32)

"And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:19)

Money is never a sin, but the love of money is (1 Timothy 6:10). Your financial prosperity is important to God. But His desire is that you seek His Kingdom first and make His righteousness your greatest passion and desire in life (Matthew 6:33).  It is God’s expectation that nothing on earth occupies His place in your heart.

Take time to wait upon God to show you His will for your life and then act upon what you hear in steps. Be sure before you rush out and do what you hear. Remain close with God and He will show you the way step-by-step.  In time you will realize a financial growth that comes through a life that is yielded to God.

Cheers to your FABlife,
